Attic: View of dangerous knob and tube wiring and non metallic sheathed wire that has been damaged by an animal. This building needs to be re-wired. Note the lack of insulation.
Attic: This is a very old chimney that is in need of major repair. Note the open crack in the brick work and past repairs. This chimney is not lined. I find this condition in very old homes with gas heat and water heaters connected to unlined chimney. CO leakage can affect human health.
Corner of 2nd story porch: This exterior corner has major rot damage. The support of the 2nd story structure can be affected by this type of rot. Note the water stains on the white painted wood members. Water has been leaking into hidden wood members and causing wood rot.
