I have been involved In the building trade, pest control work and building inspections for 27 years. I started helping my Dad building homes and additions in the the 1960's and early 1970's. We built homes here in Barrington, RI. My Dad started building homes in the late 1940's before I was born. His building business was called Craftsman Builders. I grew up playing on his 1953 Ford pickup truck. I named the home inspection business after Dad's building business. In 1961 Dad started Allmite Termite Pest Control. He started protecting homes from termites in that year. My Dad's slogan on the truck was: "Termites? Pests? Call the Best". I grew up around the building business and termite business. My 1969 High School Year Book mentions the "Termite Truck". Dad ran both the building and termite for many years until I took over in later years.
